Can you say "Astounding technology"? Ultrasounds can show so much!

Yesterday, we experienced the last ultrasound of our pregnancy. The technicians were taking all kinds of measurements to determine that all looks normal and healthy. Evelyn is approximately 3 lbs. now, which is right where she should be at 29 weeks. But here are the cool details.

Julius and I saw her face...and even saw her mouth open, close, and do the sucking motion! Too cool! We saw the chambers of her heart working, and even saw the blue and red colors that show the flow of blood into and from her heart and umbilical cord. While they gave us several pictures, most consisted of her face. There are a couple of her feet, too. I have put the best four here to share with you all.

We are now going to every two weeks for our doctor's appointments. She indicated these appointments are now just to monitor my growth, since all the blood tests have been performed and come back healthy, we no longer need to do them. Prayers are appreciated...we are sooooo excited!
