It was with sad hearts that Julius and I said good-bye to Kassie, Julius' cat who has been with him for nearly 7 years. While this decision was a very difficult one to make, we hope that it will benefit her and that God will provide a good home for her.
Since moving to Houston, Kassie has been displaying some difficult behavior changes. This is in part due to having a spirited 4-year-old in the same house, whereas before it has always been an adult home. Then, with our latest addition, attention for her, which has always been second to Kramer (the cat-love of Julius' life), became nearly unheard of.
Kassie is such a loving cat. She always wants to be rubbed and petted. Her purring is always quick to start and epic in volume...I would be able to hear her on the other end of the phone! Watching her play and sit up on her hind legs like a gofer were always enjoyable for me to watch.
We pray that the Houston Humane Society is able to locate a home without young children and who will provide the lavish attention she so craves. WE MISS YOU!
