Victory!

Over the past few days, Julius and I have been feeling somewhat discouraged and helpless with various areas of our lives.  Don't get too worried, it was only a little bit in every area that we were focusing on the negatives a lot.  Well, yesterday, we went to a Potluck Dinner with the people of Primerica and talked with a few new friends about it, so that by the time we went home Julius and I were on a little self-searching mission.  Together we were able to identify a couple of demons who have been attacking us.  This really helped us decide to go to church this morning.

While we have been looking around for a church with small Bible study groups, we had a difficult time and ended up giving up.  So we just made the decision to go to a large church just around our corner called Victory Christian Center.  We had been avoiding the large church environment because we have always felt lost in the crowd at them.  However, this was not the case at this place!  We were greeted left and right, helped to find a place, and talked with while in our seats.  When we entered, the singing was joyful and powerful! You could just feel the presence of the Lord. And the message was targeted just for us...Weathering the Storms in your life.

I am looking forward to going back tonight and getting involved in the young married couples cell group.  Please pray that this is or will lead to the home God has for us to build up our Faith and strengthen our marriage. Also, Tammy, Jen, Dad and Mom, we will likely take you guys there when you are visiting in April.  Bryce will LOVE the slides and carousel in the kids nursery!
